Summer 2024 Retreat

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s Annual Retreat was held on Saturday, August 24, 2024.  The faith filled day began with a beautiful Mass then continued with spiritual sessions and meditations centered around the Vincentian theme, “The Spirit of the Lord has sent me to be a Vincentian.”

Attendees included religious leaders, Vincentians from Our Lady of Guadalupe (OLG) Catholic Church in Helotes and other parishes within our SVDP District. 

A heartfelt thank you is extended to Father Jenish “Luke” Jose, Parochial Vicar and Deacon Paul Williams from OLG Catholic Church in Helotes, our Keynote Speaker Rev. Kevin P. Fausz, C.M., and meditation presenter, Miguel Ruiz, are both from the SW Society of St. Vincent de Paul Council. Experienced Retreat Director for many parish ACTS and SVDP Retreats, Mrs. Irene Beach facilitated two spiritual meditations and Deacon Paul Williams concluded the Retreat with an Adoration Rite of Eucharistic Exposition and Benediction. Our thanks to all our presenters for making this Retreat an enriching experience for all Retreatants.
