Helping neighbors in need stay cool this summer

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul has partnered with the City of San Antonio Department of Human Services, United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County, and Catholic Charities for Project Cool, a program that provides free 20-inch box fans to Bexar County residents aged 60 and over and disabled individuals.

Project Cool helps provide heat relief, prevent heat-related illnesses, and offer a low-cost, low-energy means to keep seniors and disabled individuals cool without incurring high utility bills. A valid ID and disability verification letter are required to qualify.
