SVDP Helotes receives $1,000 grant to feed additional people in need

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Helotes is a recipient of a $1,000 grant from SASO San Antonio for its food pantry. This contribution will help SVDP Helotes provide food assistance to 25 additional neighbors in need in Helotes and Northwest San Antonio.

SASO San Antonio (Scholars and Athletes Serving Others) is an inclusive mother-son organization for boys in grades 9-12 who live in the Clark, Brandeis, Harlan or O’Connor attendance boundaries. Their members have expressed a willingness to serve others and a commitment from both mothers and their sons to participate.
